The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), with the help of satellite, would be conducting its 22nd convocation on Saturday at all 44 regional centres across the country simultaneously. "The ceremony would be held at IGNOU headquarters in New Delhi where union HRD minister Kapil Sibal would be chief guest and deliver convocation address. It will be telecasted live at all centres including Nagpur," regional director P Sivaswaroop told TOI. Nagpur University VC Vilas Sapkal would be the chief guest of the ceremony which will be held at NU's Guru Nanak Hall, he added.
"This is the second year of convocation at Nagpur centre and 120 students from various faculties would receive their degrees from the chief guest," the IGNOU director informed.
