a direct tax code has been released by finance minister Pranab Mukherjee
after a discussion paper in the presence of home minister and former
finance minister P Chidambaram today.
The direct tax code is expected to become simple as compared to the previous tax rules.
The draft for the direct Tax Code dated 12th August, 2009 and Discussion Paper are available to download at the ministry of finance, Govt, of India website.
Redirect tax code will replace the indian tax act i96i.this direct tax code is aimed at eliminatingthe scope of ligitation.
