TANCET 2009 Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test


Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test is conducted each year by TNSF for the students who aspire to do M.Tech, MBA, MCA, ME as their master degree course.

Important dates of TANCET

1. 17-03-09 – availability of forms.
2. 04-04-09 – deadline for submission of application forms.
3. 17-05-09 – MBA entrance examination from 10:00am to 12:00noon.
4. 17-05-09 – MCA entrance examination from 02:30pm to 04:30pm.
5. 18-05-09 — M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan. entrance examination from 10:00am to 12:00noon.

Eligibility criteria of TANCET

1. For admission to MBA the candidate must be clear pass in class 12th examination and must have a bachelor’s degree of atleast 3 years duration. The diploma holder candidates can also apply.

2. For admission to MCA the candidate must be clear pass in class 12th examination with mathematics as a main subject and must have a bachelor’s degree of atleast 3 years duration. The diploma holder candidates can also apply.

3. For admission to M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan the candidate must be clear pass in class 12th examination.
